By using HeTracks, or by downloading it, you agree to what follows. HeTracks is made by Aaron Leaman, trading as Brighter Future Studio, in the United Kingdom. If you do not agree with any of it, please do not use it. It is short, and written to be read rather than skipped.
1. This is not medical. HeTracks is general guidance about relationships. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose anything, and it must never be used for fertility timing, for avoiding pregnancy, or in place of advice from a doctor.
2. Only track someone who knows. You may only enter another person's information with their knowledge. Using this to monitor anyone secretly is a breach of these terms and not what it was built for.
3. She is the authority, not the app. Everything HeTracks shows is a general tendency, often wrong for an individual, and always outranked by what the person actually tells you.
HeTracks is a guidance tool. You tell it roughly when your partner's last period started, and it offers plain-language suggestions about how to be a more attentive partner, along with educational material about the menstrual cycle. It also includes optional reflective lenses such as astrology, numerology, the Enneagram, Gene Keys and Human Design. These are shared languages for reflection, clearly labelled as such, and are not science.
HeTracks is not a medical device and has not been assessed by any regulator. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent anything. Its cycle arithmetic is approximate by design and is nowhere near the standard required for fertility decisions.
Do not use HeTracks to time conception, to avoid pregnancy, or to make any medical decision. For those, use tools intended for the purpose and speak to a qualified professional. If anything in the app makes you concerned about your partner's health, the answer is a doctor, not an app.
HeTracks only works when the person whose cycle you are noting knows that you are using it. That is not a formality, it is the design. You agree that:
Cycle tracking in HeTracks exists for a consenting partner only. Other people you add, such as family or friends, can never have cycle information recorded against them, and that limit is built into the software rather than left to your discretion.
You must be at least 18 years old. HeTracks is not intended for children, is not directed at them, and must not be used to record information about them.
Cycles vary enormously between people and from month to month. Only around one woman in eight follows the textbook 28 day pattern. HeTracks makes estimates from the dates you give it, those estimates are frequently wrong, and where its information is out of date it will say so rather than guess. Nothing it shows is a statement of fact about another person's body, mood or intentions.
HeTracks is currently in early access. It is free, provided as it is, and may change, break, or stop being available. Features may move between the free web version and the paid phone apps in future. We will not pretend otherwise: nothing here is a promise of permanent availability, and you should keep your own backup using the option inside the app.
You are responsible for how you behave in your own relationship. HeTracks offers suggestions; the choices, words and actions are yours. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, harm, distress, relationship consequence, medical outcome or pregnancy arising from your use of HeTracks or your reliance on anything it says. Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the amount you have paid us, which for the web app is nothing.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
The HeTracks name, the written guidance, the educational material, the design and the code belong to us. You are welcome to use the app and to share links to it. You may not copy, resell, or repackage its content as your own.
We may update this page. The version date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use HeTracks after a change means you accept the updated version.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. Nothing here removes any rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
The short version: your partner's information never leaves your device, and the only thing we ever collect is an email address so we can tell you when the phone apps arrive and send you occasional updates.
Everything you enter about your partner or anyone else, names, dates, cycle history, birthdays, preferences, notes, your own profile, your streak and your settings, is stored in your own browser on your own device. There is no account, no password, and no copy on any server. We cannot see it, retrieve it, or hand it to anyone, because we never receive it.
Two consequences worth understanding. Clearing your browser data erases it, and a second device starts empty. Use "Copy backup code" in the app's More tab if you want to be able to restore it.
One thing: your email address, which you give us when you enter the app or join the waiting list.
We use it to:
That is all. We do not sell it, rent it, share it for advertising, or pass it to any third party for their own purposes. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across the web.
Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by entering your address, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Form submissions and hosting are handled by Netlify, which stores the addresses on our behalf so we can read and export them. Email sending may be handled by a mailing provider. These suppliers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your address for their own ends.
Until you ask us to delete it, or until it becomes clear we are no longer going to email you about HeTracks, whichever comes first.
You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Reply "remove" to any message we send, or write to hello@hetracks.app, and we will act on it. Because we are based in the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you are in the EU, you may complain to your own national data protection authority instead.
HeTracks is for adults. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
HeTracks sets no advertising cookies and runs no third party trackers. The app remembers your own settings and data using your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is not sent to us. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them.
HeTracks is operated by Aaron Leaman, trading as Brighter Future Studio, in the United Kingdom. Aaron Leaman is the data controller for the email addresses described above and can be reached at hello@hetracks.app.
Nothing about you is collected by us. Not your name, not your dates, not your cycle. The only information that exists is whatever your partner has typed into his own phone after you told him, and he can erase all of it in two taps. If he is using this without your knowledge, he is breaking these terms, and you are entitled to ask him to stop and delete it.
